Civil CAD Designer/Drafter

Minimum Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in civil land based CAD drafting and the latest AutoCAD Civil 3C software.
  • Applicants will be required to demonstrate skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other job related activities at time of interview.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Possess excellent analytical and math skills.
  • Have effective written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in teams and independently.


Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Preparation of plans, profiles, sections and detail drawings related to civil/environmental engineering work.
  • Gathering data from existing drawings, rough sketches, surveys, and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.
  • Operation of CADD work stations, plotters, printers, and other associated equipment.

Electrical Designer

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year AutoCAD experience with electrical design.
  • A 2 year engineering and/or drafting technology degree is preferred. Documented equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
  • A working knowledge of Electrical Engineering Software programs such as SKM is a plus.
  • Be proficient at COMcheck and have knowledge of California or Washington Title 24.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Acuity Visual Lighting Software.
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines with good decision making and critical thinking skills.
  • Highly competent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a team.


Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • One-line diagrams.
  • Grounding plans.
  • Building, site and unit lighting plans.
  • Building, site and unit power plans, includes powering equipment provided/designed by other disciplines.
  • Electrical Site Plans and underground electrical design.
  • Various electrical details.

Senior Electrical Engineer

Requirements:

  • 10 years' experience in electrical engineering.
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines with good decision making and critical thinking skills.
  • Highly competent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Experience in AutoCAD or REVIT is a plus.
  • Must be a licensed PE with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree.


Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Project budgeting and scheduling.
  • Providing direction to the design team for project completion.

Water/Wastewater Engineer

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • Must have PE registration.
  • Experience with water, wastewater, and water distribution and collection required.
  • Hydrology and hydraulic modeling skills a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk Civil 3D is a plus.


Essential Functions of Position:

  • Execute consulting and design project success with processes related to civil infrastructure water/wastewater treatment applications.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for civil infrastructure water/wastewater treatment permitting and the delivery of treatability studies, conceptual design, process optimization, and system operations of water/wastewater treatment.
  • Manage multiple conceptual design projects while providing task management and technical contributions to multidiscipline teams to bring innovative solutions to civil infrastructure water/wastewater problems.
  • Provide Quality Control/Quality Assurance for work projects.
  • Create/monitor scope, schedules and budget of work projects.
  • Manage engineering work and interface with other disciplines as needed.
  • Display strong communication and interpersonal skills; visit clients, jobsites and consultant offices as needed to support project and business development needs.
  • Serve as team leader or work as an integral part of a team; provide mentoring for less experienced staff/team members.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
  • Perform and manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities and deadlines in a timely manner.

Abilities:
 
  • Ability to safely traverse project sites.  
  • Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Use and maintain various engineering tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Physically perform the essential job functions.
  • Satisfy the travel requirements of the position.
  • Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and temperatures
  • Sit for long periods of time.
  • Lift and carry 60 lbs.
